Review every innovation moment of human civilization, creativity plays a critical role. From triarchic theory of intelligence by Sternberg, students need all three parts of intelligence, named analytical, creative and practical intelligence to be successful in life. However, it seems that many educational programs seem to develop people's intelligence in only one area-the analytical intelligence. Therefore, how to improve creativity learning experiences in school is much more important in this knowledge economic era. This study tries to shed some light on how to facilitate creativity of elementary students. A e-Storybook project-based learning is designed as an innovation process for six graders of an elementary school in Taiwan. Pupils of this study were asked to play as soap designers and were assigned a mission to innovate a novel soaps for a specific user. To support the creative thinking process, a series of worksheets were provided. Finally, Subjects utilized e-Storybooks as visualizing tool to describe all the possible scenarios which might happen between the target user and the invented soap. The scaffolding features of rich pictures and narratives of each e-Storybook do help subjects think through and express ideas visualizely. Hence, their innovation processes became vivid. It is the researchers' hope that the research findings could provide a starting point for continuing studys on e-Storybook PBL for creativity education in Taiwan.
