This research is conducted to study Tembeling pottery industry as it is an expression of

the continuity of cultural heritage study. The study covers the opinion of the earlier and

the present generation of the industry towards their awareness in educating people to

preserve the naturality of the production.

Data was taken from interviews, observations, documentations, audio-visual

recordings as well as video recordings. There were five respondences - individuals from

older and younger generation who involve in this industry as source of information.

Descriptive method of qualitative study was used in analyzing data. Analysis had

shown that respondences believe that Tembeling pottery industry still has the continuity

from the earlier generation who had started earlier. It can be seen from various aspects

such as skills, design, motives or pattern and materials.

Overall, the study had found that there is continuity in educating people the

cultural heritage through Tembeling pottery industry and it has to be preserved.

Organization such as Perbadanan Kemajuan Kraftangan Malaysia through Ministry of

Arts, Culture and Heritage (KEKKWA) is among the backbones of the continuity.
