This paper looks at the various approaches and practices adopted at Ang Mo Kio Secondary School in the past 3 years as it continues to re-invent its school music programme. The paper describes changes made to the school's music curriculum, the integration of music into the school environment and collaborative efforts between music and other disciplines in the school. These reflect changes in the music industry at large, and changes in student learning needs and interests. The paper also explores the perceived resource limitations in a government school and AMKSS's attempts at surmounting them.
